Kathleen Rae Paulson
NEW ULM — Kathleen Rae Paulson, age 61 of New Ulm died peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the New Ulm Medical Center with her family at her side.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be held from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-South Chapel in New Ulm. A committal service will happen at a later date at the New Ulm City Cemetery in New Ulm.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Jill (Tony) Roufs of New Ulm; her sons, Christopher Paulson of Hutchinson, Adam Zakariasen of Watertown; her grandchildren, Tyler, Madison and Alexa Roufs, Jonathan Paulson, Mariah Paulson, Davina Lenz, and Autumn Paulson, and Benjamin Zakariasen; her sisters, Carla Grams of Hanska, Mary Jo (Dave) Runde of Kimball, Beth Tyner of New Ulm; her brothers, Randy (Sandy) Dotson of Hutchinson, Cory (Mary) Dotson of Owatonna; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Dotson; her mother, Joanne Bliese; and her brothers, Kevin and James Dotson.
Kathleen Rae Dotson was born September 14, 1957 in Hopkins to Gerald and Joanne (Cady) Dotson. She attended St. Joseph’s Grade School in Hopkins, and later attended high school in Minnetonka. Earlier in life, Kathy worked for Kraft in New Ulm for ten years, and later she worked in daycare. Besides her work there were a variety of hobbies that Kathy enjoyed including doing puzzles, crocheting, and playing cards and games with family and friends. She dearly loved to make others around her laugh. What she loved most in life was getting to see her children and grandchildren grow. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
