Thanksgiving

All of the 6 exchange students from the United States here in Machala decided to prepare a Thanksgiving meal to share our culture with the other exchange students. Everyone met at this girl from Denmark´s house which was litterally a children´s fantasy. We proceeded to prepare the meal, I made mashed potatoes and pecan pie....with almonds instead of pecans. The yams were purple, but they still had marshmellows on top so they were delicious. The turkey unfortunently had to be substituted with chicken, but no one seemed to mind. After we had finished preparations we gathered around the table, said grace and then lifted our glasses.
