Red Cross blood drives set in area towns SPRINGFIELD — The American Red Cross blood drive will be held in the following locations: 1-6 p.m. Monday, March 1 at the Community Center in Springfield; and from 1-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 700 S. Broadway in New Ulm and also from 1- 7 p.m. on Monday, March 1 at the Vet’s Club, 206 Main St. in Winthrop. For more information please call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE. Brown County Park Commission to meet NEW ULM — The Brown County Park Commission will be meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 1 in the Brown County Courthouse Commissioner’s Room. Caged 4 Critters Fundraiser event planned NEW ULM — The Brown County Humane Society will be holding a “Caged 4 Critters” Fundraiser event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 6 (the Jail and Bail date ) at the shelter.

Seifert tour comes to New Ulm
