my grandfather was red blanket woman's father,, she was married to Sibley and had a daughter with him home they named Helen,, I have first hand accounts of the women being raped by the soldiers at Fort Snelling while they were imprisoned there at the concentration camp,, so please don't tell me everything was peaches and cream there.
