GrandmaD, I couldn't agree more with you. Sad thing is, we probably knew these persons were radical and did nothing about them. I will say the proposed background check bill recently defeated in the Senate would probably have passed with some proposed minor changes but that was not the intent. Boston is a tragedy which we must learn from very quickly.

We have guns in our home. We don't have assault weapons or big ammo magazines. We are not gun nuts, but we won't be giving up the guns we have now. If we're considered righteous back-peddling gun nuts because of that, than so be it.

I consider all crimes acts of terrorism because the victims are always terrorized. The Boston slaughter takes terrorism to a whole new level, one that is more threatening & widespread than any of us can imagine. We have terrorists among us who hate us & will stop at nothing to bring our country down.

I do support stricter background checks & banning assault weapons, but no gun laws will stop terrorism of any kind. Gun debate/laws won't touch what happened in Boston.

And, of course, the Boston slaughter only points out that we need more guns and ammo out there.

Well, sure.

Let's hear all the righteous back-peddling from the gun nuts on this one.

Starting...now.
