Once again, President Barack Obama has voiced his desire to shut down the Guantanamo Bay prison, saying the prison that holds enemy combatants and terrorists is “not sustainable.” We disagree....

If you want them transferred to this country, where? Residents in this town don't even want a water tower or cell tower in their back yard, much less a prison full of the most dangerous (to US) people in the world. Keep them there, there's a reason they were detained.

Since (as far as I know) no one from the US is killing anyone from North Korea, I'd say the writer of this piece would probably be quite upset.

It's a prison camp.

Prison camps hold enemy combatants until the "war" is over. Then, when a formal agreement, armistice, treaty, whatever, is signed, those who can't be charged for war crimes are sent home. (If their home country accepts them.)

The problem here is there will be no end to a "war on terror".
