Couldn't you come up with a better name than NURD ? How about Totally Ulmer Retail & Development ? It has a snappier ring to it and the abbreviation better represents the activities that are going on relative to our beloved mall.

What I find so funny is how some people in this town must walk around with blinders on and speak out of their a*s because they don"t know any better pretty sad. And the newspaper is always one sided also, I'm starting to think there is something wrong with the people here because if you don't open your eyes you never know what is going on let alone the truth!!!!! Wake up for gods sake and try to make it a better place here instead of always putting everything down. Now I see why you can't get any small retail stores here.

There is no reason that "your" mall should not be thriving with business. Across the nation in small towns like yours the local economy is growing and localized retail is growing. The only reason the mall sits mostly vacant is because of Danielson's antics and the lack of anyone in the community to do anything about it. If NURD is the bad guy then why would they ask for the rents to be deposited with the court? Rents should be going to expenses, taxes and gaining occupancy, not for someone's personal uses.

If Danielson owns the mortgage on the north end because it was to be foreclosed because NURD was failing to pay on the loan they took out to buy the north end of the mall then why doesn't Danielson kick them out?

It's obvious that neither side is fit to own this mall, just bulldozer it down and make a city parking lot. Both partys seem to be dishonest and acting like *****y women who have to resort to meanness and dirty underhanded tricks to get revenge on one another. I'm sure the judge will tell each party to grow and act like professional businessmen.

What would happen to Herberger's if the mall was shut down?

You know its people like Hippie that hurt this town and make people not want to come here to open a store, I delt with narrow minded people like that when I came back from Vietnam. People like that just make me want to throw up, but they are like cancer we have no cure for them right now, but I have a good one in mind that works.

@ Hippie and all The mortgage was NOT in default. He purchased it from the bank and immediattly exersised his assignment of rents aledging a default. He has collected over $15,000 a month for over 2.5 years and given NO accounting and use of funds. Also he has given no payoff amount. Why would he when he can collect the money and not pay any of the bills? A normal lender would apply any rents collected to the payments first $3800 per month, the expenses (he has not paid any) then the rest to the balance. The litigation is to force him to provide the accounting and use of funds so a true balance can be determined to pay him off.
