I will begin with some thoughts by a rational, intelligent colleague of Cruz’s Representative Peter King (R-NY) who said Friday that Cruz "is a fraud" who will "no longer have any influence in the Republican Party", additionally he said "I hope people will get the message this guy is bad for the party," "We can't be going off on these false missions that Ted Cruz wants us to go on. The issues are too important. They're too serious; they require real conservative solutions, not cheap headline-hunting schemes." There are still some voices of reason in the Republican Party such as Representative King. I will close by stating that anyone who believes that Ted Cruz is something other than a self-serving, self-centered, egotistical blowhard with a massively inflated opinion of himself will require years of intense therapy; therefore it is a good thing for them that The Affordable Health Care Act is the law of the land and covers mental health services

This morning Cruz flexed his leadership muscles while his brain cells took a break, and explained how far he will go to try and shut down Obamacare. "If Harry Reid kills the bill in the Senate, the House should hold its ground, and should begin passing smaller continuing resolutions, one department at a time. It should start with a continuing resolution focused on the military. Send it over, see if Harry Reid is willing to shut down the military." Ted Cruz feels it is in America’s best interest to shut down the military, and then everything else. Obamacare must be awesome if the right wing extremists are that afraid of it.

Ted Cruz is this round's version of Rick Perry. He won't survive very long into the primary/caucus season.

I agree he is a self-serving, self-centered, egotistical blowhard with a massively inflated opinion of himself. Since we already have that model in the White House right now let's go for someone with more humility next time around.

Ted Cruz is the perfect candidate for the TP/GOP in 2016. We should all thank MIT, and his like-minded pals, for promoting Cruz's candidacy.

And, Mark Sanford would make a great VP. He'd really pep up the campaign.

Gosh, Senator, comparing your 21 hours on the Senate floor to the Bataan Death March? What leadership!

“I don’t want to miss the opportunity within the limited amount of time is imperative that I do, which is to thank the men and women who have endured this, this Bataan Death March."

MT-was Cruz showing his leadership when he missed the irony of reading "green eggs and ham" to protest something he has not tried? or maybe the book was too complicated for him to understand.
