Something that happened 150 years ago and we are still fighting about it. Let it rest for Gods sake. Who really cares about who's to blame or who did what to who. We will never completely know what all happened so long ago. People make things up to prove their point.

Not sure of your goal here 77777. Everyone frustrated with TPT has repeatedly pointed out there are two sides.

So what do you do? Pull out one quote and show your bias that there is only one side to you. Fine, have your opinion.

However, do not remotely suggest to others that they are wrong for believing there are two sides to the issue. There are two sides to every issue. Good grief.

"Let them eat grass", a quote by a white man while Native Americans were starving, women & children, and food was stored & available... Read your history & facts.

P.S. to IALAC: One of the ways we become lovable and capable is by demanding truth and integrity from everyone and everything, starting wtih ourselves.

More importantly, demand that churches, pastors, and Christians present Jesus Christ accurately and correctly: that He is the Messiah and the Savior of the world proclaimed in the Old Testament and that every jot-&-tittle of scripture is true.

Never ever budge on those points in life.

While on one level I guess I get the point of the Barry Seagren reference by IALAC1, there are two other points to consider:

(1)Taxpayer money was used by a quasi-government agency - Public Television - and TPT lied. Hardly helping us get to forgiveness.

(2)The Seagren reference is in a sermon built around Joseph forgiving his brothers after they sold him into slavery only to see him later rise to #2 in all of Egypt. The specific sermon text is Genesis 50:15-21. A key difference is Joseph's brothers never tried to present revisionist history when confronted with the truth. TPT had truth presented to them by historians and they presented lies and distortions.

From a sermon by Barry Seagren, March 14, 1993: "Forgiveness does not require an agreed version of the past."
