Putin? Give the thug a lot of rope and let him go hang himself on his pseudo-Soviet worldview.

He will probably take over the eastern half of the Ukraine as well. But, it won't work in the 21st century. Not how we're wired up and connected now.

Go ahead Vlad-fella, hit that tar baby with all your might.

Thank you Ms. Nelson for pointing out the difference between simplistic criticism and providing alternative solutions. Vlad should not have annexed Crimea, that is not a novel opinion. But, what to do about it? Sanctions? Nasty diplomatic cables? Suggesting Vlad wear a shirt while horse back riding? All done so far. And likely not effective. So now what does the Journal suggest? The Journal should do a follow up piece with their proposals. If they think ObamaCare and light rail are expensive, it's chicken feed compared to a fight with the Russians over a country most had not heard of three weeks ago!

What business is it to us? Should we judge another country's leader? Who are we to say what is right and what is wrong? Look at what Obama has done. Lets just worry about America and fix our problems instead of getting into other countries problems. Who the h e l l do we think we are, the NWO?
