HUDSON, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say one of Minnesotans shot outside a liquor store in western Wisconsin remains in critical condition while the other two have been treated and released.
Two suspects arrested Sunday morning outside a Bloomington, Minn., hotel remained in custody pending charges from Sunday morning's shootings outside a Hudson liquor store.
Twenty-eight-year-old Fartun I. Aidid, of Hopkins, Minn., was in critical condition Monday at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. Police say she was shot in the abdomen. Two men were treated and released: 23-year-old Abdirahman A. Hersi, of Minneapolis, and 21-year-old Mohamed D. Hussein, of Savage, Minn.
Police Chief Marty Jensen tells the Star Tribune (http://strib.mn/1jrfUMx ) investigators had yet to establish whether the victims and suspects knew each other before the incident. He says the victims were not cooperating.
