ST. JOSEPH, Minn. (AP) — St. Cloud Cathedral baseball coach Bob Karn has posted his 700th career win.

Karn reached that milestone when Cathedral defeated Mora 15-0 in five innings Tuesday afternoon.

The St. Cloud Times (http://on.sctimes.com/1j8xEK2) reports Karn becomes the third head baseball coach in state history to record 700 wins, one day after Brainerd's Lowell Scearcy joined the club. New Ulm's Jim Senske, who retired in 2005, is the all-time leader with 707 victories.

Karn's first coaching victory came in April 1971 when the Crusaders beat host Sartell, 20-10.

Karn is a Cathedral alumnus in his 44th year as head coach.
