BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) — The hottest item at Bud Grant's garage sale has been the former Vikings coach's autograph.
Shoppers lined up on Grant's driveway in Bloomington, Minnesota, on Thursday to have the Hall of Fame coach sign what they bought — team souvenirs, outdoor gear, even a 12-gauge shotgun. For those who didn't buy anything, Grant's signature came at a price. He charged $25.
Vikings memorabilia that was for sale included 40th anniversary posters from 2000 and Game 900 T-shirts from when the Vikings played the Lions in 2004. Other tables held old fishing reels, power tools, wildlife prints and the usual garage sale items.
It's Grant's 10th garage sale. He says it's his last. It began Wednesday evening and runs through Friday.
