CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa Tom Oelberg, Ph. D., dairy field technical specialist for Diamond V, received the Diamond V's President's Award at a special ceremony held Feb. 5.
This award is given to an individual in recognition of outstanding leadership, dedication, contribution, and service to the company.
Oelberg was recognized for his development and implementation of the dairy total mixed ration (TMR) audit system. Oelberg has traveled throughout the United States and Canada performing TMR audits. Known for innovative nutritional strategies, Diamond V and its TMR Audit Program help dairy farmers make better nutritional choices for healthier cows and improved production efficiency.
