NEW ULM - United Prairie in New Ulm recently became a full-service location offering banking, insurance and investments.
Longtime New Ulm resident and investment representative Tim Schultz and his assistant Jill Johnson, have joined United Prairie Financial Network, They are now located inside the United Prairie branch office.
Mark Petersen, market president of United Prairie Bank, wanted an investment representative with longevity and stability. "No doubt about it - I'm really excited about Tim and Jill joining us," said Petersen.
"Tim and Jill are both well-known business people in the community. It is a great opportunity to add the investment services to United Prairie's existing bank and insurance customers and continue to grow in the New Ulm community," said Rob Rader, United Prairie financial network manager.
Schultz graduated from New Ulm Public High School and Minnesota State University-Mankato. He has practiced financial planning for 25 years. He and Johnson will deliver many financial services from the United Prairie location including estate planning; wealth accumulation and preservation; generational transition planning; retirement and distribution planning; and starter financial planning for younger clients
Schultz is a member of the New Ulm Sertoma chapter and is involved in many community activities. He enjoys golf, bowling, gardening and landscaping. His wife, Donna Guggisberg, has been a part of the public school system for many years.
Johnson is a lifelong local resident. She graduated from New Ulm Public High School. She has worked with Schultz for two years, joining him after four years in the insurance industry. Jill and Troy have five children ages nine to 16, and they keep busy with their activities and enjoy camping in the summertime.
United Prairie also offers a full line of banking and insurance products for personal, agricultural and business needs. United Prairie is located at 200 N. Broadway in New Ulm.
