SLEEPY EYE - As a part of Norwood & BIC Graphic's commitment to sustainability in business practices, each North American site is conducting Green Week an opportunity for employees to learn about eco-friendly and sustainable living.
At the Sleepy Eye facility, located at 1000 Highway 4 South, employees will be educated on ways to become more environmentally conscious at work and at home. Each day of the week will feature a new topic water, paper, power, recycling and a general Earth Day theme on Friday, April 22.
Representatives from a number of state and local environmental agencies and businesses will be demonstrate products and ways to live sustainably. Those agencies are:
Recycling Association of Minnesota
Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
Nilson Heating & Air Conditioning
Kinetco
Knights of Columbus
Employees will also celebrate Green Week with activities and games, and receive a number of useful gifts to remind them to live green.
