NEW ULM - The New Ulm boys track and field team has seen significant improvement this year, with most of that showing in the field events.

On Thursday, the Eagles again showed their dominance in field events, winning four of the five events. New Ulm won the boys portion of its own track and field meet with 83 points, ahead of Sleepy Eye (56) and Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (47).

Brady Greenwaldt won the shot put with a toss of 43-feet and Caleb Schmidt captured the high jump with a mark of 5-8. Both have been big reasons for the Eagles success so far.
