New Ulm resident elected vice president of Minnesota Women of Today

NEW?ULM - Laura Gaylord of New Ulm, was recently elected as the Minnesota Women of Today Internal Vice President, one of the organization's highest positions.

In addition to serving on the governing body of Minnesota Women of Today, Gaylord also supervises the five internal State Program Managers and is the administrator of all organizational programming for the 81 Minnesota Women of Today chapters, over 1,500 members.

Gaylord has been a member of Women of Today for six years. She has held many leadership positions, such as chapter president, treasurer, secretary, and was a district director last year. Events in which the New Ulm Women of Today volunteer include the annual Women's Expo, ECFE Vehicle Fair, Relay for Life, National Night Out/Night to Unite, and more.

"Women of Today is a wonderful way to volunteer your time and talents, gain leadership training in a supportive environment, and meet many new people," says Gaylord.
