Nicole Griensewic has been hired as the executive director of the Region Nine Development Commission. She will begin the job on Feb. 27.
Her most recent job was resource development manager for Habitat for Humanity of Central Minnesota.
The Region Nine Development Commission was organized by local elected officials in 1972. Its mission is to promote the development of the region through intergovernmental cooperation, community and human development, long-range planning and technical assistance.
