The story for "Truckin' Through the Decades" features radio station KOTT ("Keep on Truckin' to the Tunes"), explained volunteers.
Using music spanning several decades - from the 1940s to the present - the story is sure to appeal to audience members of all ages.
The trucking theme fits in with this area's character, indicated volunteers.

Guest Skater: Daniel Kulenkamp, ISI's newest FS10 skater
New Ulm and Brown County have a long history with the trucking industry, which also has a strong presence today.
The show theme was also inspired by the "good fortune" to have Lisa Kelly, star of Ice Road Truckers and IRT: Deadliest Roads on the History Channel, as a special guest.
The show also features guest skater Daniel Kulenkamp, ISI's newest FS10 skater.
The beauty of the annual production is that it has a place for every skater - no matter the age or skating level, said volunteers. The NUFSC has 70 youth and four adults in the show. Their ages range from 3 to 84!
The show is a collaborative effort of many dedicated parents. The Board of Directors and others make sure the show will go on each year.
The annual ice show is the reason most skaters skate, say volunteers. It is the chance to take the skills practiced all year long and put them into performances for family and friends to see.
Many skating skills are practiced and competed as an individual, while the ice show is a complete team effort.
Guest appearances by Lisa Kelly
Lisa Kelly, star of Ice Road Truckers and IRT: Deadliest Roads on the History Channel, has a feature in each show. She will be available during intermissions.
The idea to have Kelly participate should be credited to NUFSC skating coach Julie Van Amber and her husband, David Van Amber. David Van Amber is Lisa Kelly's talent representative.
"I am very excited that I am able to participate in the New Ulm figure skating show," noted Kelly.
She and the Van Ambers were "happy to be able to work with everyone" to contribute to the show's success, she added.
"Since I've had some public exposure, it's always been important to me (and the Van Ambers) to be able to give back to the community, encourage both adults and kids to work hard for their dreams, believe in themselves and do their best to work with others in a positive way," she added.
"I am hoping to be able to visit with, and meet, as many people as I can from New Ulm and the surrounding area at the show, and root for all the skaters, coaches and everyone who has worked at putting on the show for the community. Hope to see you there!"
Local sponsorship made Kelly's appearance possible. The sponsors include D&A Truck Line, Kraft Private Fleet, J&R Schugel, America Midwest Transportation, North Central International, Bartels, Forst Transfer, Minnesota Valley Transport and Aschenbrenner.
Guest skater Daniel Kulenkamp: ISI's newest FS10 skater
The show also features guest skater Daniel Kulenkamp.
Kulenkamp is a skater very highly regarded in Minnesota and nationally.
He is one of few skaters in the country to have ever passed ISI Free Style 10.
Kulenkamp and his family have traveled to New Ulm many times over the years to participate in the NUFSC Fall Festival Competition. Kulenkamp, his parents and coach say New Ulm is one of their favorite places to visit.
