The cast of Bachelor King works on a scene during a recent rehearsal.
The plot goes kind of like this ... When poor King Evian uses his last dying words (as he falls out of a window) to pass on the royal succession not to the greedy Prince Daft but to the foolish hillbilly Yokel, everyone says Yokel needs a wife to help him run the kingdom.
Reminiscent of the television reality show "The Bachelor", his staff brings in eligible young ladies to vie for the king's hand.
There's Agatha Peabody, a high-society matron; Priscilla Tradewells-Ayers-Hollander-Morley-a four-times-married gold digger and Sally Valley - a ditzy cheerleader from Los Angeles, who are all trying to win his hand in marriage. Then there's also Crushin' Kanisha, who is a New York City gangster-type girl and Jane Claxton, who is a true-hearted cowgirl all the way from Texas trying to catch his eye.

But the worst thing of all, the vengeful prince hatches a slew of unsuccessful, harebrained assassination plots the new king.
Will Yokel sort through the contenders to find his true love and also save his kingdom from ruin?
