NEW?ULM?- The idea of Christian counseling was fairly new when back in the early 1980s Daniel Loe left his family's business to pursue a career as a professional Christian counselor.
Loe earned his master's degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1987. He supplemented his graduate work with additional study at Bethany Lutheran College and Seminary as well as Bible-based seminars and workshops. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota, a National Certified Counselor and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Loe began his career working for a Christian counseling agency connected to the Wisconsin Synod of the Lutheran church. On their behalf he opened a counseling office in southwestern Wisconsin, serving there for eight years. He then returned to southcentral Minnesota and opened a Christian counseling office. Loe now operates a private practice, Cornerstone Christian Counseling, with client appointments available in New Ulm and North Mankato.
Loe's daughters will host an open house in honor of their father's years of service on Sunday May 27 from 2-5 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 201 N. State St., New Ulm.
