To the editor:
Allow this lovely family horse to stay its remaining days in the same place here in New Ulm! How much more time will it have? Must be pretty old already & should NOT be separated from its loving family!
(Yes, the horse, paddock/ barn are part of the character of the neighborhood and New Ulm as Jim and Jane Walsh stated in a previous letter to editor.)
When I have to be in the Hintz neighborhood, I always drive slowly just to see this special horse. I have never stopped to give the horse a treat... I dearly love animals and I know our "pets" have definite feelings about life and especially CHANGE.
CITY COUNCIL, PLEASE, PLEASE ALLOW THIS HORSE TO REMAIN WITH ITS FAMILY IN THE SAME PLACE HERE IN NEW ULM. Don't cause unnecessary heartache for the horse and the family.
Thanks.
