Branches create safety hazard

June 3, 2012

To the editor:

I seldom drive the road just east of Sleepy Eye. I believe it is 250 Avenue and State Highway 14.Have you ever noticed that the stop sign is almost completely covered by tree branches? If I had not known the area coming from the south I could have driven right across Highway 14. Although there is a "Stop Ahead" sign, it looks like it is for the stop sign for the railroad tracks. The county and MnDOT need to take care of those tree branches. It is very dangerous corner. This road is North of Brown County 10 and 27, north of the converted Brick School house.
