To the editor:
All's well that ends well for Chammy. Unfortunately, a city councilor suggested the favorable decision was tainted by privilege. How so? Had alpacas been in an approachable corral for 50+ years, visited by tourists, locals, children? Who really knew of their brief existence? It's hardly a comparable situation.
But the ordinance needs revision so that alpacas and other animals may become famous residents, too!
