MINNEAPOLIS - Super Lawyers magazine published its annual recognition list, which includes eight attorneys from Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey. Just five percent of all lawyers in Minnesota are named to this list each year by Super Lawyers.
Super Lawyers are selected based on a rigorous, multiphase rating process that includes peer nominations, evaluations and third party research.
Among the attorneys from Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey recognized are:
- James P. Carey, president of the firm and one of the top wrongful death lawyers and personal injury attorneys in the state. Carey sits on the American Board of Trial Advocates and is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by both the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota State Bar Association. He received his J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1986 and has also practiced at the firm his entire career.
- John W. Carey, a nationally recognized personal injury attorney with extensive experience in the field of medical malpractice. Carey is consistently recognized by his peers for his successes and leadership not only in this area, but also in the area of alternative dispute resolution where he is noted as an experienced mediator and arbitrator. He received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law and has practiced personal injury law in Minnesota for 43 years.
