To the editor:
Thank-you for covering my speech at the Brown County Museum this past Tuesday. Here are a few corrections to my speech. The Indians went to the Jones' cabin and asked for liquor and maybe food, but they were refused. The Indians went on to the Baker cabin. Mr. and Mrs. Jones arrived soon after them. Clara Wilson was shot in the Jones' cabin after the others were shot. The $71,000 gold annuity payment arrived at Fort Ridgely by wagon at noon on August 18 - one day too late. The 150th Commemoration of the Dakota War this coming week will be very exciting. I hope everyone will take in as many events as possible.
