Do you object to other political signs?

September 11, 2012
The Journal

To the editor:

I will not carry on a lengthy debate on this subject, but I see that Wendy Ringhofer onjects to the vote YES signs on lawns. Does she also object to vote NO signs? Though not as many, there are some in New Ulm.

How about signs for Walz, Quist, Kanne, Dahms, Torkelson and Klobuchar? These are all urging a vote on raising or lowering taxes, differences in the national debt, farm program, and a host of other items. I am sure these people are strong believers in their positions just as YES and NO are personal choices on the Marriage Amendment.

I have never heard anyone reference the phrases brought up by Ms. Ringhofer. Is it possible they are a figment of her imagination?

Be sure to vote on Nov. 6. It is our right and duty.
