The Eagles got on the board first when Peyton Lewis scored off of a corner kick from Nicole Moldstad in the eighth minute.

New Ulm went up 2-0 in the second half when Monica Illikman netted a penalty kick. After Fairmont scored to cut the deficit to 2-1, the Eagles added an insurance goal from Hannah Paustian, who scored on an assist from Illikman.
