SLEEPY EYE - The District 84 Board of Education will consider contributing $200 for each Sleepy Eye High School hockey player to be used toward the cost of the participation fee at its Thursday, Oct. 11 meeting.
The resolution stipulates that the fee would be paid as long as the (Sleepy Eye) Hockey Association is in good financial standing with the school district, according to the meeting agenda.
The board will also consider approving the Sleepy Eye dance-line's participation in Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL)-sponsored competition, a band/choir trip as presented, the annual Curriculum, Instruction and Student Achievement Report, anonymous donations of $1,000 to first and third grade programs and the Dashir Annual (facilities management) Report.
The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the district conference room.
