NEW ULM - Robyn Hansen, 47, of Willernie, the daughter of Sharon and Bill Hansen of New Ulm, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Debra R. Bergstrand officiating. Burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, SOUTH CHAPEL, in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. To sign the guest book, or to leave an online condolence for her family go to www.mvfh.org.
Robyn is survived by her fianc, Steve Hinrichs of Willernie; parents, Bill and Sharon Hansen; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Greg Haubrich; brothers and sister-in-law, Mark and Ruth Hansen, Jason and partner, Tiffany Thompson; sister-in-law, Eileen (Duane) Kral; nephews and nieces, Eric, Jeremy, Jake, Mitchell, Ryley, Niki (special friend, Randy), Ashley (Tim), Heather; and great-nieces and great-nephews, all of New Ulm.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dave Hansen; and her grandparents.
Robyn Kay Hansen was born April 29, 1965 in Tracy to Bill and Sharon (Gullickson) Hansen. She attended New Ulm High School and graduated with the class of 1983. After high school, she attended college in Duluth for two years and then worked as an accountant in Woodbury. Although Robyn had no kids of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews and treated them as her own. She had a wonderful life with her fianc and partner of 11 years, Steve. Robyn loved visiting Leech Lake, being outdoors, gardening, decorating, her two dogs, and spending time with her friends and family.
Memorials are preferred to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
