NEW ULM - Keith Thomas, 75, of New Ulm, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at his home.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Debra R. Bergstrand officiating. Burial will be in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday and from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, NORTH CHAPEL, in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Thursday.

Keith is survived by his wife, Janet Thomas of New Ulm; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Dan Schmid of Redwood Falls, Paula Kreuzer, Mark Kreuzer and Kelly Weber all of New Ulm, Lori and Steve Scott of Nampa, Idaho, Lisa and Todd Chilcott of Temecula, Calif.; sons and daughter-in-law, Tim Thomas and his son, Dustin of New Ulm and Tim's special friend, Nancy Wellmann of Hanska, Dennis and Karen Thomas-Olson of Corona, Calif.; 20 grandchildren;great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Marion Thomas, Max and Joyce Thomas, all of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Beverly Thomas, Clyde and Helen Thomas, Kenneth and Maxine Thomas, Pat Thomas, and Dougy Dean Thomas.
Keith Dwight Thomas was born on June 22, 1937 in Emerson, Iowa to Mersyl and Leona (Frohn) Thomas. On Jan. 12, 1965 he was united in marriage to Janet Arndt in Brookings, S.D. After moving to Minnesota he started his trucking career with Jerry Wilfahrt. Keith then worked with other trucking companies such as Schugel's, Star Bulk, Riblet and finished his working life self employed hauling scrap metal. Keith enjoyed fishing, camping, cycling with the Southern Wings Cycle Club, league bowling, spending time with his grandchildren and playing tricks on them.
