Imelda Domeier, age 92, of San Ramon, CA, died on Monday, October 1, 2012 at her home.
Born September 17, 1920 in New Ulm, MN, the daughter of John and Anna (Kosek) Reinhart, she was united in marriage to Stanley Peter Domeier, son of William P and Anastasia (Hillesheim) Domeier, on December 18, 1945 in New Ulm. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2001. As Stanley was a 23-year member of the Armed Forces, they lived in many places, settling in Novato, CA. Following his death, Imelda moved to San Ramon, CA. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and a "good game of bridge!"
She is survived by her children, Linda Domeier, Danville, CA, David (Sue) Domeier, Walnut Creek, CA, and Barbara (John) Buckley, Novato, CA; grandchildren, Stephen (fianc, Sara) and Jennifer (fianc, Patrick); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Delphine Domeier, Robert and Mary Ellen Domeier, New Ulm, Charles and Kathy Domeier, Sleepy Eye, Thomas and Bonnie Domeier, Delton, MI, sisters-in-law, Anastasia Miller, Longville, MN, and Ruth Domeier and Irene Domeier, New Ulm, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Larry Goettl, Owatonna, MN; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son Stephen at an early age; and sisters, Emily Anderson, Stella Vogel, Mildred McIvor, Salome Saffert, Florence Johnson; and brother Leo Reinhart.
