NEW ULM - The Martin Luther College women's cross country team had the top two individual finishers at the MLC Invitational held at Flandrau Park Saturday morning.
Emilee Koltz finished first with a time of 24:31.0 to win the meet, while teammate Robin Nommensen took second with a time of 24:56.9.
Hannah Hackbarth (10th), Becca Rehberger (11th), Brooke King (13th), and Amanda Walther (15th) each finished inside the top 15 for the Knights.

Martin Luther College’s Emilee Koltz won the women’s race during the Martin Luther College Invitational cross country meet Saturday at Flandrau State Park in New Ulm.
In the women's team competition, the Knights were barely edged by North Central for first place. The Rams finished the meet with 36 total points, with MLC one point behind them with 37 points.
On the men's side, MLC had two runners finish in the top four on the way to a second-place team finish.
Grey Davis finished second with a time of 28:59.4 for the Knights, while teammate Noah Willitz wasn't far behind him in fourth place with a time of 29:29.3.
James Schuette was the next best finisher for MLC in 15th place, while Alex Meyer (18th) and John Wildauer (25th) also took home top-25 finishes.
MLC will take next week off and will next appear at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championships on Oct. 27. The Knights will be hosting the meet this season, which will also be held at Flandrau Park.
