ST. PAUL - The Martin Luther College volleyball team had three players named first-team All-Conference in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference when the honors were announced on Thursday.
Earning the honor for the Knights were junior outside hitter Rebecca Engelbrecht, senior middle hitter Rachel Hein and sophomore setter Miranda Maasz. Freshman hitter Leah Nass received an honorable mention.
Jennifer Draeger was named as MLC's recipient of the individual sportsmanship award.
UMAC champion Northwestern led the conference with five players receiving first-team honors.
St. Scholastica's Anna Zyvoloski was named UMAC Player of the Year.
Northwestern had the Rookie of the Year in Kendra Korporal, the Coach of the Year in Beth Wilmeth and the Co-Defensive Player of the Year in Lexi Bertsch. University of Minnesota, Morris' Kaylie Clark was also named Co-Defensive Player of the Year.
