Koltz leads MLC women’s CC, Willitz leads MLC men at DIII Regional

NORTHFIELD - The Martin Luther College women's cross country team was led by Emilee Koltz at the Division III Regional held at St. Olaf Saturday.

Koltz was the lone MLC runner to finish inside the top 100, finishing 98th with a time of 25:05.2.

Robin Nommensen was the second finisher for the Knights, taking 125th with a time of 25:38.5. Just behind her was Brooke King, who finished with a time of 26:30.30.0.

Also placing for MLC were Hannah Hackbarth and Amanda Walther, helping MLC finish 23rd in the team competition.

On the men's side, Martin Luther Collegewas led by Noah Willitz.

Willitz finished 142nd with a time of 29:13.0. Grey Davis finished just behind him in 143rd place, four seconds after Willitz cross the finish line.

Also scoring points for the Knights at the event were Ben Birner, James Schuette and John Wildauer, leading MLC to a 26th place finish.
