ALEXANDRIA - Warren Lee Marti, 74, of Alexandria, went to be with Jesus on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Alexandria.
Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria

He was born March 1, 1938 to Elden and Gladys Marti (Petermann) in Sleepy Eye. Warren graduated from Sleepy Eye High School and served in the US Army following graduation.
Warren was married to Nereda Niemuth on Aug.3, 1963. They farmed while operating the Sleepy Eye Bus Lines for 15 years and Marti Farm Center in New Ulm for five years. He also served on various church boards and on the founding board of Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School for six years. In 1988 they moved to Alexandria, where he worked until retirement in 2010 for Overholt Insurance and RCIS as Marti Crop Insurance Agency.
Warren is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Nereda, daughter, Beth (Randy) Gauger, son, Gregg (Nikki), and grandchildren Michael, Melissa, Dylan and Tatum, brothers Ralph (Ruth), David (Nancy) and many nieces and nephews.
