To the editor:
I am writing this letter to thank the person or persons who felt the need to steal Christmas decorations from my yard last night. I spent all weekend putting up a Christmas display for all to enjoy.
I turned the lights on for the first time Sunday night. There was a large blue LED spiral tree in the yard. When I left for work Monday morning, the tree was gone. Whoever took the tree took care when they removed it from the ground and unplugged it from the cords. An extension cord was also taken.
I hope that whoever took the tree feels good about stealing and can sleep at night. To the person or persons who did this remember: someday something like this can and probably will happen to you and then you will know how it feels to have something stolen from you. Thanks again.
