NEW ULM - Offering to buy, sell on consignment and trade items, A Bargain Place opened Nov. 1 in the 100 block of North Broadway, in the former Antiques Plus and Abel Electric building.
Hanska native, U.S. Navy veteran and Pro Kinship for Kids volunteer Allan Christle owns the business. It deals with unclaimed freight items including televisions, vacuum cleaners, shredders, clocks, coaxial cable, surge protectors, mobile inverters, DVD players, home theater systems, portable stereos, vehicle helmets, mixers, books, clothing, comic cards, belt buckles, watches, mixers, blenders and many other electrical and non-electrical household goods.
"I test everything I sell to make sure it works," said Christle.
