NEW ULM - Stanley Schnobrich, 92, of New Ulm died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 at the Sleepy Eye Care Center in Sleepy Eye.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles with Monsignor John A. Richter celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm. There will be a parish prayer service 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Doris Schnobrich of Sleepy Eye; daughter, Diane Holzerland of Mason City, Iowa; grandchildren, Paul and Brenda Holzerland, Mary Jo and Jeremy Hoffrogge all of Mason City, Iowa, Stacey Schnobrich of New Ulm, Lindsay Schnobrich of Plymouth; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Randy Schnobrich; and by his sisters, Beatrice Kluck and Phyllis Gerber.
Stanley Joseph Schnobrich was born May 19, 1920 in Cottonwood Township, Brown County to Isador and Mary (Fesenmeier) Schnobrich. He was united in marriage to Doris Hacker on April 25, 1945 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm. After marriage they farmed in Cottonwood Township until retiring in 1983.
Stanley enjoyed wood working, bowling, fishing, feeding birds, flower gardening, deer hunting, mushroom hunting and collecting toy tractors. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. Patrick's Council of the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph's-St. Elizabeth's Catholic United and the Greenhouse Boys Band.
