ROCHESTER-Rochester John Marshall defeated New Ulm Tuesday night in girls high school hockey action.
Erica Ries scored the lone New Ulm goal at 6:36 of the second period with assists from Brittany Denn and Miranda McMullen.
Julia Schaefer had 22 saves for New Ulm. The Eagles had 27 shots on goal.
New Ulm (8-6-1) hosts Marshall at 5 p.m. Friday night.
