Frank leads Wabasso girls to victory

WABASSO - Wabasso defeated Cedar Mountain/Comfrey in Tomahawk Conference girls basketball Monday.

Kimberly Frank led the Rabbits with 14 points and Ellen Franta scored 11 points. Desi Kramer finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Alli Madsen had 14 points for the Cougars.

Wabasso (11-2, 6-1) is at Sleepy Eye Thursday and CM/C (7-6, 4-4) hosts New Ulm Cathedral on Friday.

Redwood Valley girls 41, Springfield 39

SPRINGFIELD - Redwood Valley held off Springfield in nonconference girls basketball Monday.

Steph Jensen led Redwood Valley with 10 points and Jordan Salonek led Springfield with 11 points and seven rebounds. Tiffany Schwanke had eight points for the Tigers.

Springfield (7-7) hosts Sleepy Eye Friday.

ACGC boys 76, BLHS 71

HECTOR - Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City defeated Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Monday in nonconference boys basketball Monday.

Taylor Larson led ACGC with 26 points and Dylan Hoerchle had 22 points.

Mason Clark led the Mustangs with 24 points and Ryan Coulter had 18 points. Kyle Kubesh had 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Mustangs.

BLHS (5-4) is at Sleepy Eye tonight.
