PREP BOYS BASKETBALL: Mustangs hold off Sleepy Eye boys

BLHS 59, Sleepy Eye 53

HECTOR - Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart's Mason Clark scored 28 points to lead the Mustangs over Sleepy Eye in Tomahawk Conference boys basketball action.

Kyle Kubesh added 12 points for BLHS.

Jake Trebesch and Tyler Netzke led the Indians with 12 points each and John Mangen scored 11 points.

BLHS hosts Sleepy Eye St. Mary's on Tuesday and Sleepy Eye is at BOLD Monday.

BEA 73, New Ulm 71

BLUE EARTH - Blue Earth Area edged New Ulm Friday in a South Central Conference boys basketball game.

New Ulm's Jackson Yackley scored 28 points and Tanner Kluis added 21 points.

New Ulm (5-16 overall, 3-7 in conference) will play at Hutchinson today.
