MORGAN - Sam Pendleton paced the Cedar Mountain/Comfrey offense as the Cougars defeated St. James 84-68 in a non-conference boys' basketball game on Thursday.
Pendleton led the Cougars with 26 points. Brady Kerkhoff added 16 points for CM/C and Chandler Rose had 11 points.
St. James was led by Zach Brandts with 21 points.
CM/C (17-4) will host Worthington at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Morgan.
St. James will host Granada-Huntley-East Chain on Monday.
