NEW ULM - During a study session Wednesday, the District 88 Board of Education will identify six candidates for superintendent to be interviewed March 18.
Superintendent Harold Remme is retiring at the end of the school year, and consultants are helping the board choose a replacement.
The field of applicants will be narrowed to six finalists and subsequently to three semi-finalists.
The board will also review the interview process.
During the study session the board will also discuss the allocation of funding generated in a successful local levy referendum last November and implications of the federal Affordable Care Act.
The board meets 4:30 p.m. in the former middle school. The meeting is open to the public.
