Highway 15 between Lafayette and Klossner was covered by patchy ice and blowing snow Monday morning. Monday's 1-inch snowfall was accompanied by strong winds that brought hazardous road conditions and limited visibility. Several schools closed as a result. The anticipated arrival of Spring on Wednesday and the memories of 2012's temperatures near the 80s find Minnesotans longing for an exit by Old Man Winter.
