To the editor:
Please accept my apology to those who voted me on to the New Ulm School Board last fall. As a parent of New Ulm Students, it has been a huge desire to contribute to their education and improve our school district. Being elected shows that you had confidence I could make a difference, and for that I am grateful. I was determined and dedicated to doing so, and I'm saddened that an issue with my property parcel has caused these issues.
This misunderstanding has caused some frustrations and disappointments that were never intended. My apologies to the current school board members for putting you in the position of being short a board member and having to pursue someone else, you have a lot on your plate, and this is another thing that should've been prevented.
I hope to someday be able to serve on the school board and make a difference for the community of New Ulm. Thanks again to those who had confidence I could make a difference, and I'm sorry I was not able to strive to improve our district.
