SPRINGFIELD - Springfield swept Red Rock Central in a prep golf meet Friday in a nonconference meet.

Christopher Kretsch of Springfield was the medalist for the boys with a 42.

Brandon Sohre led the Falcons with a 45.

The Springfield girls won the girls' meet with Callie Wersal's 53.

RRC was led by McKayla Meier's 56.

Springfield travels to Sleepy Eye to play St. Mary's next Tuesday.

FAIRFAX - Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's Andy Hood was the medalist with a 49 as he led the Thunderbirds to a Tomahawk Conference triangular win Friday.

New Ulm Cathedral's Jack Wenner shot a 58 and Minnesota Valley Lutheran's Corey Hoffman shot a 53.

On the girl's side, Cathedral's Brooke Dummer led the way with a 45 to earn medalist honors. Laura Albrecht shot a 51 for MVL and Katelyn Seehafer shot a 53 for GFW.

BUFFALO LAKE The BOLD boys won a triangular golf meet Friday defeating Sleepy Eye, and Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart at Oakdale Golf Club.

Cole Mertens of BOLD carded a 43 to take medalist for the boys. Sleepy Eye's Tyler Netzke shot a 49.

On the girls side, BOLD and Sleepy Eye tied for the win.

Sleepy Eye's Karrah Remus was the medalist carded a 53, while Lanie Altmann of BOLD carded a 50.

BLHS boys: Jack Broderius 49, Jon Burgstahler 49, Davis Ginsburg 50, Zach Almich 51. Sleepy Eye: Tyler Netzke 49, Caleb Christensen 52, Ben Laffen 56, Matt Miller 59.
