Lucille O. Dalsgaard, age 97, of Springfield, died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 22, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Springfield with burial at the Springfield City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21, from 4-7p.m. at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield and will continue for one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Lucille O. Dalsgaard was born December 16, 1915, in North Star Township, Brown County, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Ella (Weber) Trapp. She attended school in North Star Township, and Sanborn Parochial and High School. Lucille was united in marriage to Willard Dalsgaard on March 10, 1951, at Zion Lutheran Church in Sanborn. The couple made their home in Springfield where they owned and operated a TV and radio repair shop. Lucille was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Leah Circle where she served as chairperson for several years. She taught Sunday School and sang in the church choir. Lucille enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, crocheting, playing cards, and baking and decorating wedding and birthday cakes. She also enjoyed spending winters in Arizona, traveling, entertaining, and spending time with her family. Lucille had been a resident of St. John Lutheran Home since November 20, 2008.
She is survived by her children, Robert Dalsgaard of Springfield, Susan Dalsgaard of Springfield, Carolyn Dalsgaard of Winnfield, LA, and Delbert and wife Jodi Dalsgaard of Springfield; and grandchildren, Timothy and Peter Dalsgaard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Willard in 1975.
