To the editor:
On Tuesday, June 4, around 3 p.m. I stopped at the New Ulm Hy-Vee store. Upon returning home I realized that someone backed into my car and destroyed my rear bumper, tailight, and surrounding area. The repair estimate was $1,439.No note was left on the car.My insurance will pay $1,000.
I have asked the New Ulm Police Department to look at the surveillance cameras, and if the vehicle can be identified I will pursue criminal charges. However, if the person comes forth and allows his/her insurance to pay the damages, no action will be taken. I can be reached at 507-546-3005. Thank you.
